About Amanda
Hi, I’m Amanda MacNeill — a Trauma-Informed Health Ambassador with over 15 years of experience supporting individuals through major life transitions, identity transformations, and the journey back to self-worth.
My work is rooted in a holistic, trauma-informed approach to healing, shaped by both my professional training and my lived experience. I hold a Bachelor of Social Work from Dalhousie University and a Bachelor of Arts with a focus on Psychology and Sociology from Saint Mary’s University. My passion is guiding others back to themselves by working with all aspects of health — mental, emotional, physical, and spiritual.
A Life Lived in Many Layers
I’ve lived many lives in my 40 years: foster child, misdiagnosed and overmedicated, homeless kid, university student, social worker, spiritual seeker, and world traveler. Each chapter has pushed me deeper into my subconscious to examine and rewrite the stories I believed about myself, the world, and my worth.
The trauma I experienced was often misunderstood — labeled as behavioral issues, mood disorders, learning disabilities, and digestive problems. Which lead to me being overmedicated for most of my life. Learning how to operate within the elemental energies earth, air, water and fire provided a path to healing that the medical system was not able to.
From Pain to Purpose
Through my journey, I discovered my intuitive ability to recognize energetic patterns—both in myself and in others. This gift has become the foundation of my work. I’ve devoted my life to transforming pain into purpose and supporting others through deep personal evolution.
I help clients become the observer of their lives—able to recognize the stories they’ve been telling themselves, reflect with compassion, and reclaim their authentic selves.
How Astrology, Human Design and The Four Elements Support Healing
Learning about my Human Design and astrological birth chart was a turning point in my healing. What I once believed were trauma responses or “flaws” were actually reflections of my soul’s design. These frameworks gave me permission to embrace all parts of myself—and now, I help others do the same.
In our work together, I offer a safe and nonjudgmental space where guilt and shame lose their power, and you’re free to return to yourself with love, clarity, and inner peace.
A Gentle Invitation
Healing isn’t about fixing yourself — it’s about coming home to yourself with greater compassion, authenticity, and harmony.
